Ulusaba Tales Overview

Ulusaba Tales follows the exploits of life in the African bush both from the perspective of conserving fauna and flora and the often-arduous task of operating a commercial Safari Lodge operation with its trials and tribulations.

Amidst the numerous stories of adventure, the author has endeavoured to impart hard earned knowledge and to offer the reader a true glimpse of life in the heart of the African bush. 

The exploits span Africa’s Big 5 in addition to the trials of everyday life and every effort has been made to capture the realism and pioneering spirit that is embodied in this adventure environment. 

Without doubt, the very success of commercial safaris is dependent on absolute teamwork and it was not surprising that Ulusaba was run much like an extended family.  The book explores both the mischievous nature of people in Africa and details the humorous antics of many of Ulusaba’s staff. 

In compiling Ulusaba Tales, it seemed fitting that artistic works and cartoons, providing a light and humorous tale of adventure that will inspire many to explore new frontiers enhance the written word. 

Amidst the various tales, the author has provided both historic and reference detail to the various subjects under review in a refreshing yet factual manner that urges us towards greater understanding.
